Established in July 1994 in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, Ireland, Access Plastics was set up to meet the requirements of customers in providing the best quality products at competitive pricing.
The company is privately owned and managed by John Vero, bringing his 25 years experience in semi-finished thermoplastic sheet. With it’s wide range of contacts in the UK, continental Europe and emerging Far Eastern Markets, the company is ideally positioned to meet market trends and price movements.
Through our manufacturing division, Access Plastics Manufacturing (APM), we service custom specifications for drilling, forming and fabrication of plastic material. Our UK office offers customers the ability to order online via our web site www.365plastics.com and we are delighted to announce that Irish customers can also order and pay for plastic materials online via our Irish web site www.365plastics.ie.
All materials ordered via the Irish web site are shipped direct from our offices in Ashbourne, Co Meath. Alternatively, orders placed online via the Irish site may also be collected same day or next day at our offices in Ashbourne.

Protecting the Environment
Climate change is a global problem which all organisations must address in order to reduce the rate of global warming. At Access Plastics Ltd we have a number of key objectives which we are working towards in order to minimise the impact that our semi-finished products have on the environment.
Currently we recycle over 90 per cent of waste polycarbonate and acrylic. We distribute products which help reduce carbon emissions. Our polycarbonate sheeting products meet and exceed all building regulations with regard to energy efficiency and we provide advice and support with regard to energy efficiency and complying with building regulations to all clients.
Our key objectives in relation to climate change include:
- To reduce consumption of energy and materials
- All cardboard is to be compacted, bailed and sent for recycling
- Ensure all recyclable waste materials are recycled
- Promote sound environmental practices to our employees, suppliers, partners and customers
Working Within the Community
At Access Plastics the communities in which we operate are central to our CSR policy. Many of our employees are recruited from these communities and we want to develop strong relationships by communicating and interacting with them.
For many years, we have been involved with a range of charitable organisations and have donated products for a number of projects including affordable housing. We also recognise the importance of education and therefore host regular class visits for local school children and work experience opportunities for students and graduates to gain valuable experience of the manufacturing industry.
Our key objectives in relation to working with the community are as follows:
- Regularly review business process to ensure they are responsible and do not impact negatively on the local community
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, employees, partners and customers
With over 20 employees throughout our operations we have substantial experience in all areas from sales, fabrication, cutting right through to delivery. All our staff have received training in their respective fields where required.
