PVC Strip Curtains
PVC curtains are made from a high quality, low toxic, cadium free PVC material offering extremely good clarity and consistency of colour tint and dimensional tolerances.
PVC curtains are used for internal and external thermal partitions, for a barrier against fumes, dust or flying insects, birds etc. They are also used for reduction of noise between production areas in factories, quiet areas etc, for example areas for Quality Inspection in an otherwise noisy environment.
The curtain resists the continual passage of vehicular traffic and has proven to be the number one choice of specifiers when abrasion resistance is required. A ‘buffer’ quality version (heavy duty) of these curtains is available for extreme conditions, where ’standard’ material has limited life.
Special qualities are available for low temperature applications ‘Cold Store’ and for deep freeze requirements our ‘Super Cold Store’ is available.
Reflexite Vinyls & Tape
The Reflexite product range offers ECE 104 compliant tapes in white, yellow and red, for rigid truck sides as well as for tarpaulins. The product range is called VC104.

261 Rafter Gasket System |
For use with Multi-wall Polycarbonate Sheet in Pitched Roofglazing Applications

1. EPDM ‘Rubber’ Rafter Gasket Ref 261.
Should be nailed to rafters through the centre channel. Nails to be 300mm apart.
2. Screw-on Aluminium Capping Bar
Ref 226 with 226G Gasketfitted. Cap should be fixed with screws no more than 400mm apart.
3. Push-fit Polycarbonate Stop End Plate
Ref 226EP gives a neat finish.
4. Aluminium Right Angle ‘F’ profile
Ref 222 supports the sides of the glazing sheet and weathers the edge of the roof slope.
5. Nylon Fixing Button
With Foam Washer, Ref 224 for spot fixing to rafters, purlins etc, on roofs with a slope of 10deg or more. Use sharp bits to drill oversize hole in multiwall sheet. Do NOT overtighten – it should be possible to just turn the button by hand.
6. Anti-Dust Tape
Ref 4840. Use at eaves (gutter) ends of multiwall sheet to help prevent dust & insect entry, whilst allowing condensation drainage. 25mm wide for sheet for 4mm-8mm thick, 38mm wide for sheet 10mm-20mm thick.
7. Aluminium ‘U’ Profile
Ref 252. covers and protects Anti-Dust Tape, whilst giving a rigid and neat finish to the cut sheet edge.

Exitex Capex Bars
Capping Bars are used to fix glazing sheet to wooden rafters. The manufacturing guidelines for fixing Marlon Multi-wall Sheet states that rafters should be at least 700mm apart.

RAG gasket is fixed to the rafter using pins/small nails and then the edges of two sheets meet on top. The gap between sheets should be at least 10-15mm apart to allow for thermal expansion. The capping bar sits over the join of the two sheets and is screwed down from above, fixing the capping bar to the rafter and clamping both sheets in the process.
The same capping bars are used in the installation of Multi-wall sheet are also used in the installation of flat sheet polycarbonate.

Polytec – Self Supporting Glazing Bar System
Polytec glazing bars designed to provide a range of spanning distances for a multitude of applications from domestic lean-to conservatories to large commercial glazing areas.
All polytec self supporting bars, wall plates and eaves beams are supplied in a range of lengths and come complete with all structural aluminium profiles, PVC top cappings and undercladding, gaskets, end caps and fixing screws. All products are conveniently packed in individual poly-tubes for today’s fast moving trade.

Maxiport is a complete self supporting canopy glazing system. Made entirely from structureal alunimium profiles which are powder coated providing strength and durability. The polycarbonate glaziong panels (available in clear or opal finish) are virtually unbreakable and have a unique ‘clip fit’ edge detail.
Maxiport canopies have been specifically designed for speed of installation and can be installed in place in less than a day. the system is very versatile with only a minimum number of components which can produce standard lean-to canopies to large multi pitch canopy glazing.
