Circular Economy
In addition to carbon reduction we play our part in the circular economy by focusing on the recycling and reuse of materials. Reduce: Our programme of continuous improvement targets reduction in our own material use through optimal yields and efficiency gains. Reuse: We reuse hundreds of tonnes of material each year sourced from off-cuts, waste and recycled polymers. Recycle: We work with mills to collect any waste that cannot be used internally.
ReVink Program
Saving valuable and finite resources is becoming increasingly important in today’s economy. We recognise the importance of this and are rolling out our ReVink plastic recycling program throughout Ireland. This is a plastic recycling program for our customers, which helps them to save on waste costs, unburdens them in their plastic residual flows, reduces their Co2 emissions and helps create a more sustainable future. Working with our partners in the complete supply chain enables residual materials and end-of-life products to be converted into usable raw materials that can be reused for the production of materials without reducing from the original quality.
Long Service Life
There are many types of plastics, which maybe difficult to distinguish from each other. However the plastics we use are not disposable items, but are long lasting and durable solutions, which can easily remain in applications for decades. Our PLEXIGLAS range of sheet, rod and tubes are guaranteed for up to 30 years. They are not hazardous or classed as special waste and can therefore be recycled within the circular economy.
