Polystyrene Sheets

Polystyrene (PS) is a synthetic aromatic polymer made from the monomer styrene. Polystyrene can be either foamed or solid. General purpose polystyrene is clear, hard, and rather brittle. Polystyrene is one of the most widely used plastics worldwide.

As a thermoplastic polymer, polystyrene is in a solid (glassy) state at room temperature but flows if heated above about 100 °C, its glass transition temperature. It becomes rigid again when cooled. This temperature behavior is exploited for extrusion, and also for molding and vacuum forming, since it can be cast into molds with fine detail.

Clear Polystyrene Sheet

Clear Polystyrene sheet is an economical, cost effective glazing and fabrication material. Safer and three times stronger than glass, light weight, easily handled and has good workability when cutting and drilling with hand tools.

Ideal for screen protectors, sneeze guards, glazing, secondary glazing, splash backs, picture framing, green houses, garden sheds, cloches and cold frames.

Prismatic Polystyrene

In addition to Clear Polystyrene sheet, various patterns are available. Prismatic polystyrene is the most popular pattern. Widely used for light diffusers and in suspended ceilings allowing natural light to diffuse into office spaces & warehouses.

HiPS - High Impact Polystyrene

Available in a wide variety of colours, sheet sizes and thicknesses, in both gloss and matte surface finishes. The following colours are available subject to minimum order quantity – Opal, Cream, Yellow, Orange, Red, Green, Lilac, Blue, Purple, Brown, Silver, Grey.
