Solid
Polycarbonate
Our extruded polycarbonate flat sheet range is the technical choice for architects, specifiers, engineers and product designers, offering exceptional design flexibility.
Flat polycarbonate sheet offers a superior glazing solution to that of other materials, particularly when safety or impact resistance is of vital importance.
Durability and design freedom are two of the key features which designers seek when selecting modern materials. Marlon flat sheet offers both features plus many more benefits over traditional glazing and fabrication alternatives.
- Excellent weather resistance
- Half the weight of plate glass
- Exceptional impact resistance
- Incredible strength to weight ratioÂ
- Excellent fire performance
- Easy to handle, install & clean
- Excellent light transmissionÂ
Solid sheet polycarbonate provides 200 times more impact resistance than glass at only half the weight, making it the ideal solution for fabrication or internal and external glazing applications. It can be thermoformed, fabricated and cold curved. Providing high impact resistance, solid polycarbonate is the preferred material for use in safety glazing, protective screening, machine guards and visors.
Product Range
Flat polycarbonate sheet is characterised by high optical clarity, light transmission, impact resistance and durability. Polycarbonate FS is available in clear to maximise light transmission and a range of tints including bronze and opal which offer solar control. The range includes FSX the UV protection polycarbonate option ideal for exterior applications and FS Hard with a hard coat surface which offers abrasion and chemical resistance.
FS Polycarbonate
EXTRUDED POLYCARBONATE FLAT SHEET.
FS is clearly transparent, maximising light transmission when required and through tints can also offer solar control. The strength of polycarbonate is now legendary, with unbeatable impact resistance, yet it remains flexible enough to be cold curved on site for curved applications.

FSX Polycarbonate
UV RESISTANT POLYCARBONATE FLAT SHEET.
FSX is a flat polycarbonate sheet with dual sided UV protection which prevents 98% of damaging UV radiation from penetrating the sheet, making it perfect for external glazing applications. The UV protection layer enables longer sheet life expectancy in tough climatic conditions, prevents yellowing and guards against loss of strength.
Sheet Size (mm) | Thickness (mm) |
1220 x 2440 | 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 |
2050 x 3050 | 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 & 15 |
2050 x 6110 | 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 10 |
FSX Hard
ABRASION RESISTANT POLYCARBONATE FLAT SHEET
FS Hard combines high levels of abrasion and chemical resistance with the quality, optical clarity and outstanding impact resistance of our FS sheet. FS Hard’s coating can extend the life expectancy of the plastic in its final application, thereby reducing its lifetime environmental impact.

Incredible Strength to Weight Ratio
Polycarbonate’s strength to weight ratio makes it an ideal material for safety and security applications and an excellent alternative to heavier building materials.
200 times stronger than glass with only half the weight
Long term durability means lower maintenance
Superb architectural solution where reliability in all weather conditions is a must
Excellent impact resistance, ideal for safety and security applications
Weight allows for architectural designs that could not be realised with heavier materials
Light weight means easier transport and handling at installation phase
Excellent Light Transmission
Polycarbonate’s optical qualities make it ideal for applications requiring daylight or clear vision. Marlon FS is clearly transparent, maximising light transmission when required and through opal and bronze tints can also offer solar control.
High light transmission,
92% for 3mm clear
Natural daylight increases productivity and performance in schools, workplaces and sports facilities
High optical clarity ideal for glazing and applications that require visual precision
Reduced need for artificial light cuts building energy costs
Different tints and finishes offer different levels of light transmission and light diffusion to meet the designer’s requirements
Optical clarity combined with impact resistance is ideal for safety and security windows, visors and shields
